Oh Go Fly a Kite

It's a good thing God invented Dads because who else would crawl inside the tubes at Chuck E. Cheese, let kids play around in mud, spend countless hours playing in the cold and take them on fun adventures that involve flying kites?  It certainly wouldn't be most moms I know - and yeah, that includes me.

Even though Olivia can have her phases where she just wants Mommy, once she gets to having fun with her daddy it's like I don't even exist.

While I attended a baby shower on Sunday morning, David took Olivia to a park and let her roll around in some dirt and attempted to fly a kite with her.  Apparently, he underestimated how hard it would be to control a kite and a nearly 2 year old toddler.  So, later that afternoon I played the role of Toddler Watcher and we all went to watch the kites fly.

He is loving this right now!

And, so is she.

And, if you haven't had enough cuteness for the day....

Oh Olivia, I would fly a kite with you any day.

Happy Monday from the Central Coast!

I love how Olivia is always prepared with that bottle just in case her baby gets hungry or fussy. Sweet pictures, good memories.

Gives a whole new meaning to "go fly a kite"...and a positive one at that. So cute that Olivia shared those precious moments with her Dad and her baby doll! Hugs and kisses!
