Riddle Me This:

Take a 2 month old baby girl swaddled in her Miracle Blanket and placed lovingly in her crib, add in a few grunts and groans, and multiply that by about 5 hours of sleep and what do you get? That same 2 month old baby girl still swaddled in her Miracle Blanket rotated 180 degrees in her crib.

She started out like this:

And ended up like this:

I seriously want to get a video camera installed in her room so I can do a time lapse of her during her nighttime sleep. And, yeah, you read that correctly - 5 hours of sleep. Starting the night before her 2 month birthday and lasting five days, Olivia slept for 8+ hours straight. I was REALLY starting to get used to it. But, for the last 3 nights, she's back to her old ways. Our unpredictable baby girl...

Speaking of mathematical equations, I am trying to figure out how to best pack up Olivia and all of her necessities, me and David and our belongings, the car seat and base, and 2 suitcases of show materials for our trip to DC/Baltimore tomorrow. Please say a little prayer for us (and the other passengers of the planes) that Olivia does well. My boobs may turn into hamburger meat before we get there because that just may be her pacifier for the ENTIRE. EIGHT. HOURS!

I too would be curious to see how little miss Olivia turns herself around AND still stays snug as a bug in a rug. Did you pose her in these pictures, because she is like well I'm here do you want me to show you how I did it?????

Big kiss from Nana Olivia!

Well, yeah, I posed her that way, but she really did move to that position. I'll be changing the sheets tonight to the ones with Velcro on them because it scared me a little too much. If she can be sneaky like that now, what will she be like as a teenager? Heaven help us!

Yikes. Hamburger meat, huh? Sounds painful. Hopefully she's a good girl for you and you won't have to resort to that. Mister was a terrible flier up until he was about 2 1/2.... He was THAT kid who screamed and screamed. You know, the kind that before you were a mom you would think to yourself "Man, I wish she would shut her kid up!" Yeah....that was us. Now when I am on a plane with a screaming baby I NEVER think those mean thoughts anymore because I've been there. It stinks. Good luck and I hope all goes well on your trip. :)

I laughed so hard because I felt like deja vu because I JUST read this SAME thing in "It Sucked and Then I Cried". Hahaha, Leta did the same thing!

Hope your flight out (and return) is a safe one with a happy baby. I can't wait to hear about your experience!

That is hilarious! And, by the way, she is beautiful! Good luck on the plane. We flew with Anna at 3 months (a joy), at 6 months (a challenge), and at 11 months (a freaking nightmare!) :) Just feed her on the way up and on the way down and hope she has no explosive diapers!

Love-love,
Kim
