Summer Bucket List: Flagstaff {Day 2}

On our second day in Flagstaff, we decided to do a little bit of hiking.  Because it is so hot here in the desert this time of year, we don't really get to do a lot of things outdoors besides swim, so it was so nice to be able to enjoy the weather AND the gorgeous sites.  We decided to check out some trails near SnowBowl and we weren't disappointed.

{These first pictures were taken outside of our hotel while we waited for David to finish up some work.  It cracks me up because it looks like they were on a major rock climbing adventure!}

After our hike, we stopped at our favorite Mama Burger!  We just can't make a trip to Flagstaff without eating there :)  

I ended up taking the girls swimming in the pool and they nearly froze jumping in the "heated" 82 degree water!  David was not feeling well, so I took the girls to Olive Garden for dinner and then out for ice cream after!  They were so good all day, I felt like they deserved a sweet treat....err, two, since they split a milkshake at Mama Burger!

Another Summer in SLO, Part 26 {Sister Photo Shoot}

Here are a few {sort of a lot more than a few} of my favorite pictures from the mini photo session that the girls had the week before we left!

St Patrick's Day Photo Shoot

Last year when I did my daily photos on Instagram, I never missed a day.  I'm not doing so hot with my project this year which was to do a mini photo shoot once a week.  I'm maybe averaging once a month.  As my dad would say, What it is, what it is!

Sweet Sydney girl's allergies were bothering her, so pretty much every picture I tried to take was of her with puffy eyes and a runny nose.  She wasn't feeling the photo shoot, so I eventually gave up and just focused on Olivia.  She's turning into quite the little model.

Sister Friends: Week 6

We got the girls all dressed up in their Valentine's dresses and took them out this evening for our {not so} weekly photo shoot.  We had two more adults {Nana and Poppy} with us, but it wasn't much easier thanks to my little runner, Sydney.  Out of 100 pictures taken tonight, I got about 8 usable ones.   A professional photographer I am not.

Sister Friends: Week 4

I missed a couple of weeks due to the Disneyland trip and, well, life.  But, here we go.  Week 4 maybe?

Andplusalso, Sydney is ornery, y'all.  I could not get her to stand still long enough to get a decent picture.  She saw that field and went running!
