Summer Bucket List: Movie Date with Nate!
Technically, our bucket list only said "movie date" but I'm pretty sure Olivia means "with Nate." We went to see Finding Dory and it was seriously so cute. We watched Finding Nemo the night before our date and both girls were nervous wrecks the whole time! Every part of the movie terrified them and I was worried that it would be the same for Finding Dory, but it was not nearly as frightening! My sweet Sydney girl did tear up though...she's so sensitive. #shegetitfromhermama

Snapchat Fun
We interrupt the Summer Bucket List series to post some of the selfies we've been taking with the Snapchat filters. My girls are OBSESSED!!
➹ Am I the only one who thinks he looks like Chevy Chase?! ➹
➹ I almost should tag this one because I'm pretty sure this picture was from our "Stay in our PJs all day" bucket list item!
Summer Bucket List: The Children's Museum
When we went up to the Arizona Science Center, we passed the Children's Museum and the girls begged me to take them! We hadn't been up there in forever, and so we decided to go up the very next day!
We asked Brooke to join us, and we laid out snacks and lunches and headed up ready to tackle it. It's so crazy because I remember taking both girls up by myself and feeling SO overwhelmed, but this time, with them older, it was a breeze taking the three of them! They were so well behaved and they had so much fun!

➹ Ack! I just love her so! ➹
➹ This climbing structure is my least favorite thing at the museum... can you spot Brooke and Olivia? ➹
Summer Bucket List: Spanish Camp
I have to say that I am so very proud of Olivia this summer....she signed up for quite a few camps where she didn't know anyone. One of those camps, was Spanish Camp. It was offered through the school district and was open to students going into 2nd grade through 6th grade. She was the youngest student in the class and was responsible for taking notes and everything. She learned some conversational Spanish, numbers, color words, and parts of the body. Not bad for only four mornings!
{Sydney and I enjoyed some Mommy and Me time while big sister was getting her Spanish on!}
Water Balloon Fight!
I'm not sure how this didn't make it onto our Summer Bucket List, but it definitely made it into our summer fun! I bought some of those water balloons that are super easy to fill and one afternoon when Mom and Dad came over, we filled the balloons and carted them down to the local green space. The girls had fun soaking Poppy and me with the water balloons! {And they did a great job picking up all of the popped balloons afterwards!} Thanks to Nana for taking the pictures!
Summer Bucket List: Vacation Bible School
The girls both did VBS at The Grove again this year. I'm so proud of Sydney, especially, because she was really nervous at first, but ended up loving it by the last day! Ha. So glad they had friends in their groups to keep them company!
Summer Bucket List Series
Holy smokes, guys...the girls have been back in school for a week already, and I'm realizing that I haven't really blogged ANYTHING from this summer! We have been so busy checking off things from our Summer Bucket List that I haven't felt like blogging about it at night. No worries, I've taken plenty of pictures and now that the girls are back in school, I'll have more time to blog about our adventures, right?! RIGHT?! Yeah, right.
Anyway, here's the bucket list we made for our summer! We got almost everything checked off before going back to school!

Just a Spoonful of Sugar...
Last Christmas, we took the girls up to a huge church in Phoenix to see their Christmas program -- it was incredible, with live animals and angels flying from the ceiling. I remember them saying there would be a summer performance of Mary Poppins, and just knew it was something I wanted to take Olivia to. I got tickets the morning they went on sale, and ended up getting four tickets 11 rows from the stage. We asked Riley and her mom to go with us, and made a little date of it for the day before school started. The girls LOVED the performance -- it was so AWESOME -- and they got to have their pictures taken with some of the props and the actors!
➹ Everyone is looking at Sheri except for Olivia! ➹
➹ Feed the birds...tuppence a bag.... ➹
➹ In one part of the play, the statues in the park come to life -- this was one of the statues. ➹
➹ And now there are two statues! ➹
➹ Chim chimerie chim chimerie... ➹
It was such a great way to spend the last day of summer!
