Hawaii Five-0

Oooohhh weeeee.  It's been awhile, hasn't it?  I not only went on a blogger vacation, but I went on a real vacation as well.  I mean, a REAL vacation...a no kids, no husband, beautiful locale vacation.  And, it was nice.

So, here's the scoop -- a few months ago, my brother asked if I wanted to go on an all-expense paid trip to Hawaii.  How do you say no to that?  Well, you don't.  So, I didn't.

We originally planned on going to Disneyland for a couple days with the girls and my parents, but realized it was just going to be a bit much.  So, my brother and I ended up catching an earlier flight to LA and spent the afternoon at Disneyland riding some of the rides we never get to ride.  Let's just say It's a Small World and princess encounters are way more my speed than Space Mountain and Star Tours.

➹ Getting prepared for the next few days... ➹

Flying without kids is really nice!  We got a little meal and snacks and even a free mai tai!  I started watching Scandal and got absolutely hooked.  I ended up watching about 25 episodes while I was away.  Hooked, I tell ya.

The trip was really relaxing.  We went out to eat just about every meal, we laid by the pool, read on the balcony, hiked Diamond Head {not relaxing...ha} and feasted on local shave ice.  Many thanks to my brother for a great trip!

I also have to thank my parents and my wonderful husband for taking such good care of the girls while I was gone.  I was a little nervous about leaving them, but they all did great.  Here are a few pictures that they sent me while I was gone.

Love these girls.  As much as I loved being in Hawaii, it was so nice being back home and getting hugs and kisses from these babies.

I am glad you and Uncle Rhino had a good time in Hawaii. Everybody needs a little R&R and can't think of a better place to have it.

Poppy and I were glad we were able to watch the girls with David.
