Another Summer in SLO, Part 9 {South Hills Hike}

There are so many great trails to hike around here, and the weather is just absolutely perfect.  We took advantage of a free morning on Thursday to hike the South Hills as a family.

It was pretty windy once we got to the top, but I was SO proud of how well the girls did!  We saw some cattle on the way up that we thought we would see on the way back, but once we got close to them on the return, we realized it was time to get back home, so David quickly took the long way to the car, and I took the girls the short way to a neighborhood where he picked us up.  We may have to try and do this trail again before we leave!
